Map of Collegeville Borough

Collegeville Area

By taking 1.6 square miles from Upper Providence Township in June of 1896, Collegeville area was created. Because it provides neighboring municipalities with goods and services needed by area residents, Collegeville is considered a vital community to the region. Although the township holds all of the modern conveniences of today, the look and feel of the architecture itself is still of the 19th century.

Note: A number of Collegeville postal addresses are, in reality, located in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Skippack or Perkiomen Townships.
